HANDLING PROCESS

Catch at Sea
- Squid is caught using appropriate fishing gear.
- After being caught, the squid is immediately separated from the other catch.

Handling on Board
- Squid is washed using clean sea water.
- Sorted by size and quality.
- Put it in a container filled with ice (icing) or store it in the ship's cold room to maintain freshness.

Unloading at the Port
- Squid is transferred from the ship to the fish landing area with hygienic handling.
- An initial inspection was carried out on the quality and quantity of the catch.

Transportation to Factory
- Squid is transported using refrigerated vehicles or insulated boxes filled with ice.
- The product temperature is kept low so that the quality does not decrease.

Receipt of Raw Materials
- Weighing, recording and quality inspections are carried out including freshness, color, aroma, texture and temperature of the product.

Sorting and Grading
- Squid is separated based on size, weight, and quality.
- Products that do not meet standards are separated.

Freezing
- Squid is frozen using methods such as AIR BLAST FREEZER (ABF) or Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) until it reaches a core temperature of around -30°C or lower.

Packaging
- Products are packaged according to customer specifications, labeled, production coded, and traceability information.

Storage in Cold Warehouse
- Frozen products are stored in cold storage at temperatures of around -22°C to -25°C to maintain quality until the distribution or export process.
